Dr. Mahsa Soraya
General Dentist
Dr. Mahsa Soraya graduated from UBC in 1991 and shortly after she opened her dental office on Scott Road in North Delta. She has taken many continuing education courses all over the world including the Las Vegas Institute for Advance Dental Studies. She has been teaching both Problem-Based Learning and Clinic courses to dental students at the University of British Columbia for the past few years. She is a good standing member with The College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia. In her free time she enjoys fundraising for charity events, volunteering at a local Persian Community Centre, reading, and watching movies.
Dr. Soraya is available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and 1 Saturday out of the month.
Dr. Alex Galo
General Dentist
Dr. Galo was born in Havana, Cuba. He moved to Canada when he was 6 years old. He went to high school in Vancouver where he enjoyed playing basketball and running track in which he finished 4th in the 800 meters in the 1984 B.C. High School Championships. He graduated from U.B.C. Dental School in 1991, and received top prize in his class for prosthodontics. After serving four years as a military dentist in Esquimalt, B.C., Dr. Galo enjoys working in the Lower Mainland as a family dentist. His main hobbies are playing guitar and singing but he is grateful for his day job. He is passionate about providing quality and caring dental treatment to his patients and works at Angel Care Dental full time.
Dr. Galo is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Dr. Sunpreet Bains
General Dentist
Dr. Bains graduated with her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of British Columbia. Prior, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences at Simon Fraser University.
Dr. Bains enjoys all aspects of dentistry. She is especially interested in pediatrics, orthodontics, oral surgery and esthetics as she has completed externships in both orthodontics and oral surgery in New York, Las Vegas, New Jersey and Philadelphia. Dr. Bains is able to provide Conscious Sedation to those patients that would like a more comfortable and anxiety-free dental experience. She is also Invisalign certified.
Dentistry became a natural passion as Dr. Bains loves working with her hands. Born and raised on a farm in the lower mainland, she is no stranger to hard work. Dr. Bains is also proud of her involvement in the community and is a former Miss White Rock and British Columbia Ambassador. She is also a Top 25 Under 25 Award winner and has been honoured as a YWCA Young Woman of Distinction.
Dr. Bains is a life-long learner and continues to acquire current dental knowledge through journals and courses. She is compassionate and prides herself in providing competent dental care to her patients.
Dr. Bains is available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Dr. Aleksandar Janic
General Dentist

Dr. Aleksandar Janic graduated from the University Of Belgrade – Faculty Of Dentistry, where he received his degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1989. He received his first formal training in Implant surgery in 1991 from Prof. Dr. Hans Grafelmann, Bremen, Germany. In 1994, he moved to Vancouver, BC, where he maintained full-time private practice, with emphasis on Implant Reconstructive Dentistry, Oral Surgery and Sedation.
Dr. Janic has professional expertise has been recognized by the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, awarding him the status of Diplomate. He is a Fellow and Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Master of the Implant Prosthodontic Section of International Congress of Oral Implantologists and Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He is also a member of the American Society for Advancement of Anesthesia and Sedation in Dentistry and Associate Fellow of World Clinical Laser Institute.
Dr. Janic is also a graduate of comprehensive New York University-based Implant Maxi-Course. He completed his training in IV sedation at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Patterson, New Jersey. Further, he graduated from the Mini Residency program at Indiana University School of Medicine Section of Plastic Surgery and Microsurgery.
Dr. Janic is a member of several implant study clubs and has completed more than a thousand hours in continuous education dedicated to implants. He is also the author of several distinguished presentations on topics such as Guided Bone Regeneration and utilization of Bone Morphogenic Proteins in Sinus Augmentation procedures, and conducted a two-year human study on use of PepGen P-15 in Maxillary Sinus augmentations, Co-sponsored by CeraMed.
Currently, Dr. Janic is involved in a human study for the use of Stem cells in augmentations of deficient bone.
Dr. Cynthia Bhourji
General Dentist
Originally from the lower mainland, Dr Cynthia Bhourji attended the University of British Columbia where she obtained her Bachelor of Science as well as Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Her mission is to provide high quality dental care in a comfortable and relaxing environment. Dr Bhourji believes that dentistry is a team effort — patients need a comprehensive effort by the whole dental team to accomplish their goals. This is the main reason she joined the uniquely motivated, high skilled and enthusiastic team at Angel Dental! She looks forward to seeing you and your family for your dental needs!
Dzi
Head Hygienist
I’m Dzi, the Lead Dental Hygienist at Angel Care Dental, where I’ve had the privilege of working for close to eight years. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of British Columbia and earned my Diploma in Dental Hygiene from the Vancouver College of Dental Hygiene in 2013.
Providing gentle, compassionate care is at the heart of what I do. I treat every patient as if they were family and take pride in helping them understand the important connection between oral health and overall well-being. I’m passionate about lifelong learning and staying current with advancements in dentistry to ensure my patients receive the best possible care.
Outside the office, I love exploring the world with my partner and son, always seeking new adventures and creating meaningful experiences.

Office Manager
With 50 years of experience in the dental field, including 37 years as a dedication office manager. For the last 10 years I have brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our practice. One of my key strengths is helping patients make the most of their dental benefits, ensuring they receive the best possible care.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring and sharing my experience with our incredible team, watching them grow and continue our mission of guiding patients on their journey to optimal dental health.
When I’m not at the office, you’ll often find me spending time with family and proudly sharing photos of four wonderful grandchildren – they bring endless joy!
Stephany
Head CDA
With over 8 years of experience in dental assisting, Stephany serves as the Head Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) at Angel Care Dental. Her journey began as a practicum student, and through dedication and passion, she has grown into her current leadership role.
Stephany holds a Certificate in Dental Assisting from Douglas College and has further advanced her expertise with an orthodontic module, allowing her to offer a broader range of services. Additionally, she has taken numerous continuing education courses on dental implants, which play a key role in her ability to assist Dr. Janic effectively during implant procedures.
Her primary goal is to create a comfortable, safe, and welcoming environment for patients to receive top-notch care. At Angel Care Dental, Stephany is committed to ensuring that every patient feels at ease, knowing they are in capable hands. Her continuous growth in the dental field reflects her dedication to both her craft and the well-being of the patients she serves.
Alex Talento
Head Receptionist
Alex is the head dental receptionist at Angel Care Dental, where she has been an integral part of the amazing team since 2017. With 13 years of experience in the dental industry, she initially worked as a Certified Dental Assistant before realizing her interest is in patient care and communication. She thrives on building meaningful connections with patients, guiding them through their treatment journeys with both clinical and financial expertise- all while bringing a little humour to the office. As the lead for treatment coordination and the dental implants department, Alex ensures every patient feels informed, comfortable, and confident in their care.
Outside of work, Alex is about good food, great trips and quality time with her growing family.
