Founded by Dr. Soraya, Angel Care Helping Hands is a charitable organization committed to providing vital assistance to individuals and families in need. Our mission is to bring hope, comfort, and practical support to those facing life’s toughest challenges. Through donations, volunteer work, and fundraising efforts, we partner with compassionate supporters to make a tangible difference in our community.
"We seek out and help smaller organizations such as Covenant House, ALS Society of BC, and Operation Rainbow, that may be struggling financially. In his book, Nader Angha had written "do not worry about the darkness that enfolds the world, concentrate on being a single candle." Those words have changed my life for the past 20 years. It is my intention, my deepest hope, and my mission in life to be the brightest candle I can be. And I respectfully ask my friends to join me against this fight over darkness."
Angel Care Helping Hands Foundation's Mission
Our mission is simple: help where help is needed most. We focus on supporting smaller organizations—such as Covenant House, ALS Society of BC, and Operation Rainbow—that may be struggling financially. Whether it’s providing basic necessities or organizing community outreach programs, Angel Care Helping Hands is dedicated to creating lasting change and brighter futures.
For over 25 years, with your generous support, we have accomplished incredible milestones:
Clean water access – Installed running wells in Cambodia
Global medical aid – Supported hospitals in Fiji and Iran
Child hunger relief – Fed children in the US and Canada through Tony Robbins and Covenant House
Foster care support – Provided resources and care for children through Foster Plan Canada and United Way
Cancer research funding – Contributed to Dr. Sadar Research at the BC Cancer Foundation
Life-changing surgeries – Funded cleft lip and palate surgeries with Operation Rainbow and Dr. Rai
These achievements reflect the power of compassion, collaboration, and a shared commitment to making the world a better place.
